A Linguistic Primer for Malaysians Book

The title is A Linguistics Primer for Malaysians by Loga Mahesan Baskaran, but i only have the photo copy.  I think this book has good explanation about linguistics.This book tell about the basic of Linguistic, such as explaint about language, Introduction to Lunguistics, pure linguistic, and applied linguistic.

A Linguistics Primer for Malaysians not same from another book because, the first describe all about the content and explaint to specific for the next. Also is always gives simple example each topic, such as the example of phonetics is when he/she hungry, wet, uncomfortable, cold or thirsty. Thus, this production of “meaningless” sound (which do not have vocabulary meaning in any language) is the first stage of communication with the world. It uses easy vocabulary, and it make the reader easy to get the idea.
There is many pictures each topic, it can support you to understand. Many of collage student lazy to read a book, especially in English. This book give you simple example from our live, such as beginning from the innermost, we have the individual from the day he is born. From first cry of sounds that he gives (which is why a new born baby is given a good thump or slap on the back to see if there is vocalization and life).
