FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

 

Future Perfect Tense expresses an activity that start before and that will be complete in the future. (Future Perfect Tense menyatakan suatu aktifitas yang dimulai sebelumnya dan yang akan selesai pada waktu yang akan datang)

 

Example:

They will have done their work by the time end of this week

(Mereka akan selesai mengerjakan pekerjaan mereka pada saat minggu ini)

By next year Susanti will have read this book

 (Pada tahun depan Susanti akan selesai membaca buku ini)

A       : He’ll have spoken (Dia akan selesai bicara)

N       : He will not have spoken (Dia tidak akan selesai bicara)

Q      : Will he spoken? (Akankah dia selesai bicara?)

Exercise:

1. Sarah will .... waited for me by the time i arrive to her home. (have, having, has)

2. They will have .... their work at 6 am. (finish, finishing, finished)

3. will we .... studied English for three years by the end of this month? (have, having, had)

4. Bambang will not ... slept soundly if you call him at 10 pm tonight. (having, have, to have)

5. They will not have .... to another city when you invite them to your party this week. (moving, moved, moves)
